Bill is originally from Oklahoma City, moved to Kansas at age 5 and has been a musician since age 9. He started playing guitar professionally in 1981 and toured relentlessly throughout the eighties and nineties chalking up 300 dates a year in 1988 and 1990. In 1995 he began a five year stint touring nationwide with The Jimmie Van Zant Band, playing 36 states including Alaska. Currently, he plays throughout Kansas City and the Midwest region with Voodoo Kitchin.

Bill has performed as an opening or headlining artist with the bands like: Babylon AD, the Beach Boys, Chris Duarte, Cory Stevens, Dokken, Extreme, James Young (Styx), Jason Bonham, Joe Walsh, Johnny Lang, Pantera, Quiet Riot, Randy Bachman (BTO), Tommy Aldridge, and Ty Herndon.
