Rebekah Carter has been active in music most of her life. Her mother is a musician and encouraged Rebekah from an early age to practice and enjoy piano and vocal music. Rebekah learned to play and perform on the violin, saxophone, flute, and clarinet.

Rebekah has played as a member of many groups in the KC Metro area, including the Kansas City Youth Symphony and the UMKC Wind Ensemble. She enjoys a wide variety of music including classical, jazz, hip-hop and rock-n-roll. Rebekah is currenly in her senior year at UMKC finishing her music degree.

When Rebekah is not playing music, or teaching music, she also loves spending time with her three cats, her dog Little Bit, and her roomies.
